Al-Ikhlas Mosque in Jember Accelerates Construction with Blesscon Lightweight Bricks

The committee accelerated the construction of the Al-Ikhlas Mosque on Jalan Sumatera XI RT 1 RW 32, Tegalboto Kidul neighborhood, Sumbersari sub-district, Sumbersari district, Jember regency, East Java, with the help of Blesscon lightweight bricks from PT Superior Prima Sukses Tbk (BLES) on Monday (2/3/2025).
Construction of the mosque began on November 17, 2024, and is targeted to be completed in time for Ramadan this year. Agus Priyono, chairman of the mosque construction committee, said that the project had faced financial challenges. Until now, financial support has come entirely from community donations in the form of funds or materials.
“Another challenge was the mosque’s location in a narrow alley, which made it difficult for construction equipment to access the site,” said Agus, the committee chairman.
Amidst this situation, BLES provided Blesscon lightweight bricks through Yusuf Permadi, Brand Manager of PT Superior Prima Sukses Tbk. “We hope that Blesscon lightweight bricks can be one way for us to benefit the community. Especially since the residents hope that this mosque can be used for worship during Ramadan next month," he said.
This assistance is also a form of appreciation for the residents who have worked together to build the mosque. According to Yusuf, the construction of the mosque using lightweight bricks will be completed faster, so that the community can immediately enjoy comfortable facilities with walls.
Agus expressed his gratitude for this assistance. “We are confident that the lightweight brick materials provided by Blesscon will help us finish the walls quickly. This means that even though the mosque is not yet fully completed, it will be ready for tarawih prayers during the fasting month,” he said.
