The issue of uninhabitable houses (RTLH) remains a serious challenge in various regions, including Purwonegoro Village, Purwanegara District, Banjarnegara Regency. Rotten walls, leaky roofs, and fragile building structures are a daily reality for some residents. However, a glimmer of hope has begun to shine on this village thanks to support from the private sector.

PT Superior Prima Sukses Tbk (BLES), through its flagship lightweight brick product Blesscon, is taking part in driving real change. Through its 5th Plant located in Banjarnegara, the company has distributed 80.64 m³ of lightweight bricks to help repair 15 residents' houses and build village public facilities, such as village hall fences.

“We are very grateful. This assistance is very meaningful, not only to repair damaged houses, but also to strengthen the sense of community in our village,” said Asep Hermawan, Secretary of Purwonegoro Village, representing the Village Head.

He also hopes that this collaboration will continue as a form of real synergy between the village government and the private sector.

Purwonegoro Village itself is home to approximately 9,734 people in 3,472 households, with a total of 2,632 housing units. The village government aims to ensure that all residents can gradually access adequate housing, as the foundation for improving the quality of life—from economy, education, to family well-being.

Blesscon Brand Manager Yusuf Permadi explained that this contribution is a form of corporate social responsibility to grow together with the community.

“We want to be part of the solution. Development is not only about infrastructure, but also about bringing hope and a better future for residents,” he said.

Blesscon's contribution is in line with the government's program to accelerate the handling of RTLH, which not only has an impact on living conditions but also contributes to reducing poverty rates.
