Based on information from the Mojokerto Regency Government in East Java, there are still around 9,000 uninhabitable houses (Rutilahu) in Mojokerto Regency that require attention and will continue to be handled gradually.**
The Rutilahu program is one of the government’s efforts to reduce poverty while improving public access to safe and healthy housing.
The involvement of the private sector is considered an important step to accelerate equitable development and strengthen collaboration between the government and the community.
PT Superior Prima Sukses Tbk (BLES), the producer of Blesscon lightweight concrete blocks, became the first private company to work in synergy with the Mojokerto Regency National Alms Agency (Baznas) in supporting community development through the symbolic donation of lightweight concrete blocks.
The donation is intended for the development program of uninhabitable houses (Rutilahu) in Mojokerto Regency.
The handover ceremony was carried out together with Mojokerto Regent Muhammad Albarra, popularly known as Gus Barra, who expressed his appreciation for the private sector’s concern for the community.
“We would like to thank PT Superior Prima Sukses Tbk for supporting the Rutilahu program through the donation of lightweight concrete blocks. Hopefully, this initiative will serve as an example for other private companies to participate in social development in Mojokerto Regency,” said Gus Barra in his remarks on Monday (August 25).
Chairman of Baznas Mojokerto Regency, Zamroni Ahmad, stated that beyond providing social benefits, the use of Blesscon lightweight concrete blocks also contributes to environmentally friendly construction that is energy-efficient and quick to install.
“This program not only helps provide livable housing but also aligns with the government’s ongoing sustainable development agenda. The involvement of Blesscon as a private partner has truly benefited the people of Mojokerto,” Zamroni said.
BLES Brand Manager Yusuf Permadi added that development is not only about infrastructure, but also about improving people’s quality of life.
“Through this support, we hope to help provide healthier and more environmentally friendly housing, while also promoting sustainable development in Mojokerto,” Yusuf added.
